Hi. I’m Danielle. Also known as Danni or Dan!
I am the founder & owner of Makeover Box, hair and makeup artist, mum to two beautiful girls, part time doggie mum ( I know strange!) , wife and a whole lot more.
Loving the journey I’ve been on so far to get here and excited for what’s still to come!
How it began
I started out my journey as a hairdresser, back in the day many moons ago, at Toni & Guy in London & Hertfordshire before moving down to beautiful East Sussex, where I am based now.
But in between that I have worked as a hairstylist for Virgin Atlantic and lived in Perth, Australia, and also Spain, styling hair for events and brides to be.
My love for styling hair and weddings has just grown and grown, and after having my oldest daughter I knew I wanted to open my own business. After many crazy business ideas, I decided to add another string to my bow by learning makeup.
I loved it from day one, and how it can enhance our features and create confidence.
I have been on numerous courses since and still do to this day for both hair and makeup… Every day is a school day so they say and fashions and trends are constantly changing so we make it our mission to keep learning!
What I love
Making memories, adventures and spending time with all the loved ones in my world.
Travel – is my love language!
Doggies – Maybe one day I will be a full time dog mum! Haha
Podcasts – Currently loving anything business or manifestation related!
Music – Chilled house, ibiza vibes, pop and of course some garage music to get me pumped on the way to a wedding morning!
Long walks by the sea with good coffee… and of course buying makeup!
