Who We Are

I’m Danielle, the owner Makeover Box and I work with a wonderful team of bridal hair and makeup artists. We hope to make you feel even more lovely for your wedding, than you already are.

As experienced hair and makeup artists we specialise in all bridal looks; after all who doesn’t want to look fabulous on their wedding day and have the styling they want!

We create stunning looks for you and your whole bridal party.

How We Make You Feel Fabulous!

Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life and we know how important it is to feel amazing. This is why, as bridal hair and makeup artists we ask lots of questions and do a trial to find the best look for you. We will talk about accessories, colours, tones and the level of glam you want to go.

Bridal Hair

For bridal hair we make sure to have a great fun trial, way in advance, to ensure you get your dream hairstyle on the day

Whether its a stylish up do with gems and accessories or something simple and classic, like a Hollywood wave; we can cater to exactly what you want. As the bride, you are the star of the show and we will take plenty of time creating a hairstyle that matches your dream look.

We also work with your bridesmaids, mother of the bride and mum in law creating their hairstyles for the day.

During your hair trial we will discuss the best styles that complement you, your dress and bridal makeup, offering our expert advice on how to make you feel your absolute best.

For bridal hair, we work throughout East Sussex and West Sussex, either within your home or at the venue. Especially in areas such as Brighton, Lewes and Tunbridge Wells.

Go for that natural glow…

At Makeover Box, we work with many brides who may simply want a natural glow or a timeless classic look. Perhaps you want to go for a vintage style of makeup, or maybe are looking for something just a little more glamorous than normal.

We also work really well with corrective makeup, so please never worry about blemishes or scarring as we work with some great products. Those pre-wedding nerves are always tricky and can certainly show in your skin – we are good at sorting these!

Similarly to our hair trial we do a trial for your makeup too. We use leading brands to create your looks, including NARS, Mac, Charlotte Tilbury, Hourglass, Laura Mercier, Dior and more! If there is a certain brand you want to work with then please let us know. Being freelance gives us the freedom to use many high end products in our Makeover Box.

For bridal makeup, we work throughout East Sussex and West Sussex, either within your home or at the venue. Especially in areas such as Brighton, Lewes and Tunbridge Wells.
